Just Do It!

As I sit here and write this I think of the goals/resolutions I made for myself for 2014.  Unfortunately January is almost gone and I have not started.  They say the average person keeps their resolutions for approximately 2 weeks, I say the average person takes that long to get the going!
I have two main goals for this year;  get this blog up and running and grow my business, which I will share at some point.  Along the way I am hoping that this blog will help to keep me accountable for all the little goals I have set for myself also.  And in the words of The Little Engine that Could, "I think I can, I think I can", at least I sure am going to do my best.
I have a WHOLE BUNCH of ufo's (un-finished object in the sewing/crafting world) that I am hoping to finish up and share along the way.  Just to name a few, I have a quilt for my grand daughter, 2 prayer pillows for my grand daughters baptism's, a pillow for my grand son made with fabric of his favorite super hero, 4 garters for a high school dance coming up, a really cool coat I am making out of a tapestry for my daughters mother-in-law, and on and on and on....  As you can see, I have plenty to keep busy finishing up, never mind the countless future projects that are constantly spinning in my mind.
How many ufo's do you have?  The problem with them is it is so exciting to start something new, so instead of finishing up something, another project gets started.  That is a big problem :)  Feel free to share a list of your ufo's you want to work on and we can help keep each other accountable and share our successes.

For now I have many things calling for me, hope to finish up a few!

Until next time,
Kathy
